(Story #2 on the “Terry Pratchett” page from LinkedIn … )
Tuesday Next was browsing apprehensively on Friday through a library of her favorites. Yes, there was Alice in Wonderland and the Wizard of Oz and Pride and Prejudice. Ngaio Marsh and Angela Thirkell works were all safe. But it was with trepidation that she entered the Next Room (which was named after her despite her pleas for anonymity).
Holding her breath, she tiptoed over to the space between O and Q. And there it was: A long noisy shelf of Terry Pratchett books, exchanging quips, puns and social comment, still safe, and eager to be read by generations to come.
