John Blum from U.S. was taking the glass-lift to the roof-top dome of modern Reichstag, an architectural marvel, in Berlin. The ride offered a view of the parliament chamber below from all levels. It was designed to remind current politicians of being watched for their legislative actions, so not to repeat past atrocities. John wondered: “How were Nazis able to mobilize citizenry so quickly, in absence of today’s Facebook and Twitter’s rapid text-messaging?”

His thought was immediately punctuated: “How have prestigious Ivy League-educated politicians in my country still been supporting a dictator who has been tearing apart the country?”
