For the Sake of Our Careers We Must All Agree This Never Happened, by Johann Lux

The hardened hearts of skeptics skipped a beat and the laws of physics went sheepishly into retreat, as the man who said he could levitate rose effortlessly from his seat.

A search for wires, magnets or anything attached left onlookers wondering, what was the catch, while the man hovered comfortably two feet above the floor.

The man was accused of being a holograph and chased, first out of the room, then out of the building.

The crowd of scientists, realizing their mistake, screamed at the man – now outdoors – to come down, but he continued to float up, up and away.
