For days now, the group-photos of the dictator’s henchmen (all millionaire Caucasian congressmen) in joyous celebrations have been appearing in the newspapers and on the T.V. screens. They were taken right after they had repealed laws from the previous administration meant to protect the job, health-care and education of the minority members of the society.
Prominent African-American Bill Lewis, a repeatedly-tortured and jailed veteran of the past civil-rights movement along with Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., only sees in those photos, a group of past white supremacists who shed their white robes and masks to emerge as the country’s modern-day patriots.
