“Whoa! Where’d everyone go?” Cynthia gasped.

“No clue. They were here a while ago,” Randy responded. “This is so weird.”

“With our luck, they’re trying to avoid the insanity of humanity. Good luck with THAT.” Cynthia shook her head.

“Well, they’re right, since humanity IS insanity. But, I’m going off topic.”

Cynthia wouldn’t give up. “Seriously–our group used to create a bunch of awesome stuff every week. What happened?”

“Guess they’re doing other things.” Randy was frustrated. “If they don’t return, I’LL go insane!”

“Breathe. Friday Flash Fiction will go on, no matter what.” The two smiled, feeling reassured.
