Blog Update Notice

I’m afraid I’m going to have to officially scale back my updates here on the F.F.F. WordPress blog. The main reason is that I’ve landed my first full-time job, which is going well so far. Since I now work 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. about 45 minutes away from home, I just don’t have the time like before to keep the blog fully up-to-date.

In addition, a few weeks/months ago, LinkedIn suddenly stopped sending e-mails notifying users of new comments on its threads. I used to rely on these e-mails to help stay current with the F.F.F. material, but without them, remaining up-to-date is tough.

I’ll still post each week’s 100-word stories, and I’ll follow the multiple other discussions. I’ll also leave the others here on the blog, though the current versions will only be on LinkedIn (and Gordon appears to be still posting the 100-word Stories, Longer Stories, and Poetry threads to http://www.fridayflashfiction.com). Thanks, Gordon. Personally, though, I’ll now be more of an observer (and occasional participant) in these other threads.

Hopefully this news won’t come as a huge shock, since I hadn’t touched most of the sub-pages for quite a while. Friday Flash Fiction is still an awesome exercise, though, and I’m amazed by how much our group has grown and strengthened over the years. E-mail us at (fridayflashfiction@yahoo.com) if you have questions, comments, suggestions, or a contribution.

Thanks. Long live Friday Flash Fiction …

Russell

P.S. I’ve also pinned this message to (https://fridayflashfiction.wordpress.com/blog-update-notice/) here on WordPress.
