No More Songs To Write, by Jo Oldani-Osborne

(By One Very Lucky Person)

“I, I can remember (I remember)
Standing, by the wall (by the wall)
And the guns, shot above our heads (over our heads)
And we kissed, as though nothing could fall (nothing could fall)
And the shame, was on the other side
Oh we can beat them, forever and ever
Then we could be heroes, just for one day.”

The mega-star in the mega-show didn’t moondance, or break guitars. He sauntered, singing with candor, with a beautiful presence, telling a story. The fans became quiet and listened. There was no better place in the world to be at that moment.
