“She pushed me!” Jack sputtered. “I did NOT fall!”

“That’s nonsense,” Jill countered. “You’re just plain clumsy. Everybody knows that.”

“Horse hockey! You shoved me off that hill, and I sustained a fractured skull and a concussion! I want to be compensated for my injuries. If you don’t cough up my medical expenses plus pain and suffering, I’m going to take you to court!”

“Phooey! It’s my word against yours.”

“No, I have a witness who will testify that you tried to kill him too!”

“Oh, yeah? And who might that be?”

“He’s right here. Humpty, can you come in?”
